Food Fund

Here at the Nowzad shelter we strive to feed the dogs the best possible diet we can give them but this of course costs a lot of money and we need your help.

We have our own special dog soup mix that all the dogs thrive on and to make this we use the following ingredients:

1. Rice
2. Naan Bread
3. Eggs
4. Pedigree Dry Dog Food
5. Minced Beef
6. Bones
7. Carrots
8. Potatoes

It took a while to get it right but the dogs love this mix and feeding time is a complete frenzy!

The cats get fed on a diet of dried food and we give them wet food and tuna fish whenever we can.

You can now help us by either mailing the following items to us or by donating to this page.

We need:

1. Dry Rice and Pasta
2. Tinned or Dried Veggies
3. 5kg bags of dry dog food
4. 5kg bags of dry cat food
5. Tinned cat and dog food
6. Powdered Egg
7. Bone meal

Please note that boxes coming to the APO address should weigh no more than 10kg.

Some outlets such as Amazon, Netgrocer.com and Drugstore.com will offer free shipping on some orders!

It costs us around $1.50 per day to feed each dog at the shelter so please do donate even if it is just $1 and please spread the word to all of your friends and family and ask them to donate as well.

All donation received to this page will be used to fund the desperately needed food items we currently need. It will not be used for transportation of the animals so if you wish to donate for a specific rescue animal then please use the Chipin pages listed at the Nowzad website and Facebook pages.
